There’s really no excuse other than to say that we took a long hiatus from this particular blog site to try out some others like Blogspot, Weebly, and TypePad. Can’t say I’ve been all that impressed with the other blog sites because:
- The other sites don’t have the rich user interface that WordPress has.
- Our own client web sites and company web site use WordPress, so this blog is intuitive to us.
- We feel that WordPress is so widely used now for free blog options (like this one) as well as paid-for themes, widgets, and SEO & social media tools that WordPress has the best SEO value.
Our proverbial “tail is between our legs” for missing out on three years of potential posts for our readers. Admitting this is no easy feat. We did do a read-through of our old posts and, of course, so much has changed in the world of SEO and social media marketing that today’s blog posts are going to look like a completely different animal.
We last left off on Orange Soda’s blog post, courtesy of AJ. He provided us with some very real and relevant information about why SEO is ideal for cosmetic surgeons who are looking to attract new patients online. Since he wrote that post, we’ve expanded our services to reach cosmetic dentists and dermatologists as well. We figured that the aesthetic patient, no matter what part of themselves they are “sprucing up” has the same basic needs and wants as a cosmetic surgery patient.
Today marks the re-activation of this blog and the addition of some fresh, new information that applies to today’s savvy physician. Come back and read this blog weekly as we add short but sweet SEO, medical social media, and practice marketing tips for doctors to use every day.
Until Next Time (We Promise It Won’t Be Another 3 Years),
